Why Water...

I choose watercolour because:

- it’s very forgiving.
- you can make as many “mistakes” as you want & be me
ssy with it, mixing any and all colours.
- you can have no idea where you’re going with it - and it becomes something in the end.
- it can be harsh when it needs to be and soft when it needs to be; and those two things can coexist together very beautifully.
- you get to drop colours into tiny puddles of water and watch it do it’s thing.
- it can be simple, it can be elegant, it can be intricate, it can be complicated, it can be easy… or it can be all of these things at once.
(much like life)
